Are you missing the workshops?
Just in case we cannot get the workshops up and running as soon as we would like to, we are introducing ‘Workshop Boxes’ for you to work on at home. This is the first, and will work like a Block of the Month, but for ‘Block’, read ‘Blocks’, plus a bit…..!

Perfect for beginners or more experienced stitchers, you will make the magical transformation from Snowman to Santa Claus in just nine appliqued blocks which can be completed either by
hand stitching or using your sewing machine; there are many of us that enjoy hand sewing blanket stitch applique.

From August through to November you will receive everything you need to complete this fabulous, mystery applique project in four easy steps; It is a monthly workshop in a box.

1st August, fabric pack and patterns for the first three blocks,
1st September, again the fabric pack and patterns for the second three blocks.
1st October will bring you the fabric and patterns for the last three blocks and the sashing, so you finally get to meet Santa, and

1st November is the box with the fabric and instructions for the pieced and appliqued border, plus suggestions for the quilting.

As said before, this is a perfect project for both machine and hand applique with detailed instructions, and you could further embellish with hand embroidery, charms and beads if you wish.

The total cost is £75 for all fabrics, Heat’n’Bond, buttons, nine patterns, and full instructions to make this Mystery Quilt top and binding.

The finished quilt will be approximately 42 inches square (110cm), perfect as a winter throw or a lap quilt. We are also happy to mail out to you.
