This is a StashBuster Pattern!

HEXAGON TEMPLATES ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR PATTERN  

You can use scraps from your stash and choose your embroidery threads.

The shades we used are listed below.

The shade numbers are the same for DMC Coton a Broder and DMC Stranded Cotton embroidery thread. I used Coton a Broder but you can achieve the same effect using 2-3 strands of embroidery thread plus, you don't have to stick to the suggested shades, check your thread boxes. 

FABRIC You need small pieces of fabric for the blocks and paper piecing,

I used four fat eighths.

30cm square of background fabric for embroidery

Border fabric, side and base, 10cm x width of fabric

Top Border fabric 10cm x 50cm

Flange 5cm x 50cm

Back of Bag Fat Quarter

Lining & Pocket Half metre

Handles 30cm x width of fabric

PLUS 21/2 Metres of 1 inch webbing for the handles

50cm x 100cm 80/20 wadding or similar
