Lynette Anderson - Forest Friends Pattern

Product Description

Four little windows in this design give you a peek into the forest and at the creatures that live there. Lynette has had fun making two versions of this design, one that combines appliqué and simple stitching that she then made into a pillow. With the other Lynette has removed the applique and in its place added some of her specially designed handpainted buttons and then framed them in a sweet timber frame.

• 18” cream tonal print, background
• 1 (6” x 6”) square each of 16 coordinating prints, hexagons
• 1 (6” x 6”) each of 4 assorted prints for applique
• 18” x 25” backing fabric
• 5” blue tonal print, binding
• 42 x 1” pre-cut water soluble hexies or traditional paper hexagons
• Embroidery Floss, I used Valdani 6 strand floss #519 green olives, #154 antique gold, #511 black sea, #P10 antique violet, #P8 old rose, #512 chimney dust, #548 blackened khaki brown, #078 aged wine and #578 primitive blue
• Apliquick rods, optional
