Sometimes the simplest idea can transform the everyday into something special. In this creative workshop, you’ll learn how to turn an ordinary vase or jar into a beautiful decorative piece with a handmade textile cover — perfect for displaying flowers or adding charm to your home.
You’ll explore a combination of techniques, beginning with a touch of needle-felting before moving on to machine stitching with decorative threads. From there, you can personalise your design with hand embroidery, beads, buttons, or any embellishments that inspire you.
By the end of the day, you’ll not only have a unique finished piece, but a versatile technique you can return to again and again — ideal for repurposing tins, glasses, and containers into stylish holders for pens, coins, or treasured bits and pieces.
