Monday 17th August. EMBROIDERED REDWORK DECORATIONS plus ROBINS ON BOBBINS. Hand stitching is the order of the day in this wonderfully relaxing and creative workshop. Spend time enjoying the slower pace of traditional sewing techniques as you create a selection of charming Christmas decorations for your home. You will also make a beautifully hand-appliquéd and embroidered Robin, full of character and perfect for festive display year after year. Combining delicate stitching, appliqué, and decorative detail, these projects celebrate the warmth and timeless appeal of handmade Christmas décor. 10am-3.30pm. Cost £45
Tuesday 18th August. STITCHED CHRISTMAS TREES. Today is all about creativity and choice. Create a collection of charming decorative trees using linen, felt, or festive Christmas fabrics, each with its own unique personality and style.
Add beautiful embroidered details either by hand or by using the decorative stitches on your sewing machine. You may choose soft felt appliqué, fabric appliqué, or combine both techniques to add texture, colour, and interest to your designs. These delightful trees are wonderfully versatile — perfect for festive decorating around the home or as thoughtful handmade gifts that will be treasured year after year. Wednesday 19th August. CHRISTMAS RUNNER. A beautiful design for the Winter season, created not just for Christmas but to bring warmth and charm to your home throughout the colder months. Combine simple patchwork blocks with appliquéd lettering to create a runner that is both decorative and personal. Add extra appliqué details, embroidery, or embellishments if you wish, or display it as a festive door hanging instead of a table runner. Our design features the words ‘Warm & Cosy’, but you can make it entirely your own, as a full alphabet template is included so you can create any message you choose. 10am-3.30pm. Cost £45
